Finding a fully halal restaurant in Thunder Bay isn't always easy. At Shekho's Shawarma, there's no separate menu, no "some items halal" caveat — the entire kitchen is halal, and it always has been. That's how the Shekho family has cooked since long before they opened the shop.
What "halal" means at Shekho's
All of our chicken and beef is sourced halal. Everything is prepared in-house in one kitchen, by one family. We don't serve pork. We don't serve alcohol. If you're eating halal — for religious reasons, for peace of mind, or because you just want food made with more care than a drive-thru — this whole menu is for you.

- Chicken shawarma — marinated overnight, carved off the vertical spit.
- Beef shawarma — deeper spice, slower roast.
